Brandon
Brandon McCaughan is a talented young racing driver from Northern Ireland who looks to build a professional career within motorsport, with the intention to compete in prototype competition in the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup.
The 21-year-old driver started his motorsport journey climbing through the Irish Rallysprint and Rallycross ranks. He moved into single-seaters next, contesting two full seasons in the National Formula Ford Championship. Showing great raw speed and a natural flair for overtaking, he became a multiple race-winner and was crowned the winner of the coveted GB4 Championship scholarship shootout for 2024. A sensational introduction to slicks and wings racing saw him take two wins and four podium finishes from three GB4 weekends.
The Ballymena driver has made the transition to prototype competition for the next step in his career. Following a great Ligier European Series debut at Portimão in 2024, he returned to the grid at Silverstone the following season and produced a stunning performance to take pole position and two overall race victories. McCaughan also produced impressive front-running pace on his Michelin Le Mans Cup debut, with his performances to date firmly highlighting him as one to watch in prototype racing in 2026 and beyond.
